PIFT is offering Post Graduate Diplomas in Sportswear Design and Furniture Design and Two years [advance] and One year [basic] Diplomas in Fashion Design Domestic Retail [FDDR], Knitwear Design Technology [KDT], Interior-Exterior Design Technology [IEDT]. The management and the faculty of the institute consists of highly professional persons which boats from business and from professional background. PIFT provides excellent facilities such as modern art rooms, computer lab, library, design lab for cutting and stitching with both Indian and Japanese sewing machines, knitting lab with flat bed knitting machines.

PIFT is the only Apparel and Interior Designing College in Punjab which has earned lot of credits to sustain its vision and goals viz. to emerge as a leading professional designing college imparting practical training to the students thereby creating tremendous job opportunities in INDIA and abroad. To achieve these credits, PIFT has been working very closely with Apparel organizations viz. Knitwear Club, APPEAL, GMMSA-one of th biggest and recognied apparel associations of India and with GITC & KT, Government of Punjab Institute and SISI, Ludhiana-Govt. of India agency.
