Semester I

The first level includes basic sketching, fashion illustration, introduction to design, color  combinations, drafting basic, garment construction techniques, textile science, history of fashion, elements of design, computer designing, industry  and field visits.

Semester II

The second level provides learning in advance illustration, model drawing, creative design analysis, pattern making advance level, garment construction of woven garments, textile science, traditional textiles, embroidery techniques, surface ornamentation and its application on the garments, CAD, market surveys, retail marketing projects

Semester III

The third level is introduced in the second year with advance fashion drawing, still and optical illustration & garment construction of men’s/ kids projects, draping, advance drafting and grading systems, advance level textile science, screen making, different techniques of printing, retail marketing skills, business communication, advance level CAD-designing projects, term end garment presentation.

Semester IV

The fourth level helps the students to apply their knowledge and skills acquired in the previous levels in different domestic market based projects. This level deals with the development of portfolio in woven and knitted garments targeted for the Indian retail industry. Industry internship of 6-8 weeks with industry based projects.
