Semester I
Basic introduction to interior design , use of colour,
colour study , material study and furniture design. Elevations, plans and
isometric view, study of wood, ply boards, classroom design and plans of a
residence . Basics of computers, projects report on glass , ply boards and
field study.
Semester II
The second level begins with
different styles of office furniture, different materials in furniture designs,
complete residential designing-plans, elevations & sections, Presentation
drawings, Doors & windows , joints , murals, guest lectures, models making
, market surveys. Perspective views-one point & two point , CAD-Auto
Cad drawing , Vaastu Shastra, feng Shui lecturers, staircase designing , false
ceiling. Design presentations and marketed based projects.
Semester III
The second year advance level includes exterior designing, history of exterior and interior design, landscaping, site planning,
services, estimating and costing, one point and two point perspective, paneling and partitions, model making, field visits.
Semester IV
The fourth and the final
advance level covers designing of café’s, farm houses, showrooms, restaurants, lighting techniques, site visits, professional model making, workshops,
market surveys, Auto Cad projects and design sheets Presentation. Internships
6-8 weeks under leading architects.
